IMC RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse
• Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Hours per week: 36
• Unit ratio: 4:1 to 5:1
• Floating: May float within scope if needed, including to sister facilities if needed
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
• Charting system: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Driver's License

Work Expectations

• Stroke patients are cared for on this unit
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Pending state license is not accepted
• Block scheduling is not available
• RTO is limited to 5 days or less

Submission Requirements

• Current valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
• Utility bill in the traveler’s name with matching address from within the last 3 months
• Address must be more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
• Driver’s license must be included with submission

Additional Notes

• A patient care orientation class is required for all RNs
• If there has been no Epic experience within the last 6 months, Epic class is required before the schedule is assigned
