Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Post Partum (2 years of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Expectations

Care for postpartum vaginal and cesarean delivery patients
Support tubal ligation and circumcision cases
Provide care for GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery patients
Perform blood and blood product administration
Manage drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
Administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Provide OB-GYN and post-op care, including post-vaginal delivery and postpartum readmit care
Provide normal newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management

Scheduling and Work Conditions

Floating may be required to NICU or L&D
Weekends are required to meet staffing needs
