Labor and Delivery

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Manassas, Virginia
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Local candidates are treated the same as travel candidates

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Experience circulating for C-sections
• Experience with C-section recovery
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• EFM: intermediate preferred, advanced acceptable

Additional Compliance Items

• Government-issued photo ID
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
• Employment application
• Skills checklist for the applicable unit, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• N95 fit test within 1 year of start
• Negative Qgold (QFT) within 30 days of start
• TB questionnaire, updated annually
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge
• Contingent Worker Form
• Annual TB screening assessment
• Hep B declination if needed for negative/equivocal titers
• Flu exemption forms if requesting a medical or religious exemption
