Cardiac Tele

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Clinton, South Carolina
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Weekend coverage is every other weekend, though this may change based on need
• Float is required to like units or to other facilities depending on need

Patient Population

• Inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions
• Common diagnoses include sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease
• May include cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation

Unit / Clinical Details

• Vasoactive drug administration
• Antiarrhythmic drug therapy
• Thrombolytic therapy
• Defibrillation/cardioversion
• Thoracentesis
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring
• EKG
• Non-invasive blood pressure monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• 2 years of experience in Cardiac Tele
• 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Tele unit
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
