Job Description

• Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
• Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Shift

• 06:45 AM to 7:15 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

• Specialty: RN Telemetry I (Med Surg Telemetry)
• Required years of experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience.

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
