Overview
- 13-week long-term assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- 4-10 hour shifts weekly, with shifts from 8:00a-6:30p.
- On-call assignment is required.
Unit Details
- Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is a 6-room unit with 9 holding bays.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: Holding Area 1:3; Intraprocedure 1:1.
- The unit sees 10-25 cases per day, ranging from diagnostic only to complicated PCI and Structural Heart.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS
Scheduling and Call
- Call requirements are 1-2 nights per week and every 4-5 weekend, depending on staffing and department needs.
- Weekend requirements are on-call.
- Holiday requirements are on-call.
Float Scope
- May be required to float between affiliated campuses or locations within the health system based on operational needs, with limited notice.
Additional Context
- The hospital is a level-1 Trauma Center.
