MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Assignment)
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Call Requirement: 1 time per month
Weekends: Yes
Unit Overview
- Unit: Radiology Imaging Center, 1st Floor
- Number of Beds: 300+
- Staff on Unit: 8 MRI Technologists (4 day shift, 1 night shift)
- Equipment: GE and Siemens MRI machines
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
- Permanent positions available on unit
Job Responsibilities & Procedures
- Perform routine MRI imaging including Body, Brain, Abdomen, and Extremities
- Cardiac MRI experience preferred but not mandatory
- Full body MRI imaging experience required
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

- Dress Code: Black scrub pants and olive green scrub top
- Personality Fit: Friendly, easy-going, and positive attitude preferred
- No overnight or night shifts for this assignment
