7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Must be flexible on scheduled days

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Prior travel experience required
NRP
High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a respiratory therapy program

Experience

Travel experience required
Previous respiratory therapy experience strongly preferred
Previous patient care experience preferred

Job Summary

Provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
Evaluates, treats, and reassesses patients following physician orders
Works independently and with physicians and nursing staff on therapeutic modalities
Participates in code team and rapid response team activities
Provides patient and family education
Assists with orientation and training of respiratory and nursing personnel
Participates in quality improvement and departmental education activities
Transports patients
Assists with special projects, equipment, and stock inventory control
