Long Term Care Registered Nurse Contract

Job Overview

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment type: Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Schedule note: Candidate must be flexible; no guarantee of hours or shift preference

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Long Term Care experience within the last year
1 year of Long Term Care experience
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Perform assessments and treatments
Administer medications
Notify MD/NP of pertinent information
Complete admitting and discharging tasks
Provide ADL assistance
Perform gastrostomy tube care
Perform urinary catheter care
Provide nebulized treatment
Perform wound vac care
Provide CPAP care
Perform tracheostomy care
Complete other assigned duties

Start Date Requirement

Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health on Friday
