Required Qualifications

• Connecticut RN license
• BLS
• 2 years of experience
• EPIC experience
• Prior travel experience
• Must be able to work every other weekend
• Must be able to work Sundays
• Must be able to work 48 hours if needed
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Cannot have blocked schedules
• No local travelers within 50 miles

Preferred

• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Experience with Cerner and EPIC

Unit Details

• Ratios: Days 1:3-4; Nights 1:7-8
• Charge nurse: shared with North 6
• Nurse aides: 1:8
• Holidays: every other
• Tele: no
• Vents: CPAP HS only
• Hospitalist: 24/7
• IV team: 7:00am–8:30pm; nurse resource available 24/7 for IV help from 7:00pm–7:00am
• RT: 24/7; nurses do all respiratory treatments
• Pharmacy: 24/7
• Floor orientation: 2 shifts
• Common patient types: general medical patients
