Required Qualifications

• Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Negative drug screen for all panels
• Last four digits of SSN
• Clinician’s middle initial
• Requested time off

Job Details

• Local placements accepted within 50 miles
• Local rate adjustment applies for clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5 days, 1:5 nights
• Common patient population includes CHF, diabetic, end of life, heart failure, medical patients, and some telemetry patients
• No titratable drips
• No vents; BiPAP and CPAP are monitored by RT
• Nurses must monitor/watch tele monitors; tele monitor is available 24/7
• Charge nurse is present 24/7
• Nurse aides/patient care techs are available depending on staffing and census
• Floating may include 4West (MedSurg) and occasionally ICU for general overflow patients
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Orientation is normally 2 shifts; 3 may be considered

Schedule

• 12-hour day and night shifts listed in the source
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No call or standby requirement
