Job Opportunity: MRI Tech

Location

Lexington, Kentucky

Employment Type

Travel/Contract

Contract Length

14 weeks

Work Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM), Monday through Friday
Days off vary

Job Description

Perform MRI scans with a focus on Radiology/Cardiology specialties
Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required
Must have knowledge of MRI safety, including researching implants and adhering to scanning guidelines
Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients
Preferred experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility
Experience with Epic and PACS systems is preferred
Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
Current BLS certification
ARRT certification in MRI (MR)
Experience working with pediatric patients
