Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: Plainview, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Multispecialty ultrasound position requiring experience in:
- General ultrasound
- Fetal ultrasound
- OB ultrasound
- Breast ultrasound
- Transvaginal ultrasound
- Vascular ultrasound
- Echocardiogram (adult echo, contrast echo, echo stress treadmill)
No floating between units
On-call required:
- Monday to Friday: 5 PM - 8 AM
- 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
Weekends required on-call
Patient ratio: 8:1
Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Level IV Trauma Center
Total staffed beds: 49

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with recent experience within the last year
Experience as a Vascular Sonographer
Experience in Fetal Echocardiography
Experience as a Breast Sonographer
Experience in Adult Echocardiography
Experience as an OB Technician

Additional Requirements

Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required prior to start
Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
On-call and weekend availability required
Must comply with facility float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)

Work Environment

Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level IV Trauma designation
49 staffed beds
Patient ratio approximately 8:1
On-call coverage includes nights and weekends
