Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Aurora, Colorado
13-week assignment
3x12 rotating shifts
First-time travelers accepted
Must be comfortable with a fast-paced surgical overflow unit
Floating required as needed, including to sister facilities and like units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Requirements

6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
RTO is limited to 10 days maximum
RTO is not allowed during these date ranges:
- September 2–12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027

Unit Details

Surgical PCU / PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown
Cares for floor-status trauma and general surgery patients
Nurse tele monitoring is part of the unit’s care level
