Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job

Location

Kalamazoo, Michigan

Schedule

Night shift
3x12 hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
May pick up additional hours as needed
Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 per week
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Call: not required

Assignment Length

Up to 26 weeks

Unit Notes

Float as needed to medical-surgical departments
First-time travelers are accepted
Night staffing ratio: 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of nursing experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Considerations

Holiday time-off requests are not accepted, though dates may be discussed with the manager to determine unit coverage
Common patient diagnoses include pneumonia, heart failure, GI bleed, DKA, altered mental status, and sepsis
