Registered Nurse - PCU (Night Shift) - Texas, Abilene
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 48
- Start Date: July start date strongly preferred
- Location Requirement: Must live 150 miles or more from the facility
- Flexibility: May be asked to float to another floor or campus
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience
- Minimum years of experience in specialty: 1 year of recent Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Prior travel experience: Not required

- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)

- Color Blind Testing (online Ishihara test accepted)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
- Pass/Fail Testing for Telemetry Nurses (EKG/Medication)
