CT Technologist Position - Colorado, Pueblo
Job Details
- Specialty: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
- Location: Pueblo, Colorado
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
- Department: Radiology - CT
- Scanners/Rooms: 2
- Typical Daily Volume: 30-40 scans/studies per day
- Imaging Types: Routine CT Imaging including Head, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, CTA Head, CTA Chest, Calcium Score, etc.
- Equipment Used: GE scanners; Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant for imaging software
- Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided when in-house; hours 6 AM to 6 PM including weekends, holidays, and call as needed
- Weekend and Holiday Work: Required
- Call or Standby: Not required
- Dress Code: Black scrubs (not provided)
Required Qualifications
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- Additional Requirements: Must be able to start IVs
- Travel Requirements: Must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)
- Other: A valid driver’s license must be submitted; agency must provide traveler radiation badge (not provided by facility)
Work Environment
- No floating or coverage of other areas required
- Radiologist available in-house
- No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
- Radius for travel: 60 miles
