Overview
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Setting: Works across two nearby labor and delivery locations
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana or compact RN license
- 2+ years of labor and delivery experience
- 2+ years of circulating C-sections experience
- BLS through AHA
- ACLS through AHA
- NRP
- STABLE
Key Responsibilities
- Care for laboring patients
- Assist during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Provide couplet care
Schedule / Work Conditions
- Works 3 out of 4 weekends
- No call requirement
- May float between the two assigned locations based on need
Unit Details
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1
- May be 1:2 in early labor or induction
- Couplet care ratio is 1:3
Additional Notes
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Local clinicians within 50 miles are subject to a reduced local rate
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment
