MRI Technologist

Location

• Medford, Oregon

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM
• 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Call may be assigned based on staffing and department needs

Required Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current MRI credential through either ARRT or ARMRIT
• Oregon MRI license through the Oregon Board of Imaging
• Related bachelor’s or associate’s degree

Experience

• One year of experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred

Clinical Areas / Procedures

• Neuro with perfusion
• MSK
• Abdomen
• Critical care patients
• Pediatric patients, including some NICU
• General anesthesia patients

Unit Details

• 2-room MRI department
• An aide will work with the technologist during all hours
• No floating to other units

Orientation

• 2–4 weeks of orientation on day shift
• Possible back-up call until comfortable working 3rd shift

Dress Code

• Medical scrubs
• Professional attire required
• Closed-toe shoes required

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not accepted; 50-mile radius restriction applies
• Non-billable orientation: 12 hours in the first work week
