Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday rotation
Unit Overview
- Stepdown unit
- 20 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3:1
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS certification
- ICU/Intermediate (Stepdown) experience with 3:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Trach and ventilator experience
- Must be able to titrate drips
Additional Details
- Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
- First to float
- May float to ICU with extensive ICU experience; otherwise may float to other Stepdown or General Med
- No call or standby requirement
- Drug screen required
- Requested time off must be submitted with the application
- Submission requires the clinician’s last four digits of SSN and middle initial
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation
- Any scrub color is allowed
