Required Qualifications

Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico
Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Role Summary

Evaluate and treat patients affected by illness, injury, developmental, or psychological impairments
Develop, implement, and monitor plans of care
Provide occupational therapy treatments and modalities to support rehabilitation and independence
Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

Verify physician orders before evaluation
Complete patient evaluations and establish goals and plan of care
Administer or direct occupational therapy treatments and modalities
Use and monitor therapeutic equipment safely
Communicate patient progress and treatment effects to the referring physician
