Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
  • Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association

Clinical Setting

  • Patient population: All ages
  • Common cases: Respiratory issues
  • Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAPs, ABGs

Additional Notes

  • Previous RT experience is required
  • Must be able to work with all age groups and work alone if needed
  • Professional demeanor expected
  • Travelers must have required certifications before start
  • Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
