Location: Missoula, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Employment Type: Travel
Unit: Diagnostic Imaging
Shift Schedule:
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Wednesday to Friday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- On-call: Tuesdays 4:30 PM – 7:00 AM and every 4th Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Hours per Week: 36
Work Environment:
- Solo work starting at 5:30 PM
- Unit staffed with 4-6 x-ray techs daily
- Equipment includes GE Proteus, AMX Navigate, Carestream, Delinia, GE OEC 9900
- Documentation systems: PACS (Phillips, Inland Imaging), EMR (Cerner)
Patient Population: Experience with NICU through geriatric patients
Procedures Performed:
- Outpatient, emergent, and inpatient imaging
- X-ray, Fluoroscopy, portable X-ray
- C-arm guidance for surgery, ERCP, and pain procedures
Dress Code: Unit scrubs required when going to OR; personal scrubs allowed otherwise (any color)
Additional Perks:
- Ability to flex up to 1.0 FTE if desired
- Access to outdoor activities such as fly fishing, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Montana
Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (R) Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients

The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited teaching hospital with a Level 3 NICU and an Accredited Chest Pain Center.
Formal de-escalation training (e.g., Handle with Care) is relevant for several units including NICU and Pediatrics.
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel position.
