Registered Nurse - Rehab (Travel)
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information
- Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- 44 beds
- Staff: 46 total (RNs, LPNs, techs, secretaries)
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, RNs, LPNs, techs, 1 secretary
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, RNs, LPNs, techs
- Patient Ratios:
- Techs: 5-6 patients per tech
- Nurses: 10-15 patients per nurse
- Equipment used: Hoyer lifts, IVs, PEG tubes, tracheostomies, peritoneal dialysis, wound care
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use
Typical Procedures
- Medication administration
- Basic med-surgical nursing tasks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Rehabilitation nursing, including experience within the last year
- Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills in Healthcare Setting
Preferred Experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) background required
- Med-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience preferred

- Team-oriented and positive attitude highly valued
- Dress code: Navy scrubs
- Unit recognized for multiple Daisy Awards and Joint Commission basic stroke certification

- Approximately 36 hours per week
