Position Details

• Role: Cath Lab Tech III Contractor
• Department: Cath Lab
• Number of positions: 1
• Shift hours: Typically 4 shifts per week, 8 hours each; possibility of 4 shifts at 9 hours (7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 (based on 4 shifts of 10 hours)
• Weekend shifts: On-call weekends
• Call requirements: 8 call shifts within a 4-week period
• Float requirements: None

Unit Information

• Number of labs: 2
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment used: Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Epic Cupid
• Patient types: Cardiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Competency in sedation
• Competency in circulation

• Dress code: Light blue surgical scrubs (hospital issued)
• Unacceptable attire: T-shirts other than white or gray
