Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Position Details

Role: Cath Lab Tech III Contractor
Department: Cath Lab
Number of positions: 1
Shift hours: Typically 4 shifts per week, 8 hours each; possibility of 4 shifts at 9 hours (7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 (based on 4 shifts of 10 hours)
Weekend shifts: On-call weekends
Call requirements: 8 call shifts within a 4-week period
Float requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of labs: 2
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment used: Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Epic Cupid
Patient types: Cardiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Competency in sedation
Competency in circulation

Work Environment and Culture

Personality fit: Self-motivated, team player
Dress code: Light blue surgical scrubs (hospital issued)
Unacceptable attire: T-shirts other than white or gray
