Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Position Details
- Role: Cath Lab Tech III Contractor
- Department: Cath Lab
- Number of positions: 1
- Shift hours: Typically 4 shifts per week, 8 hours each; possibility of 4 shifts at 9 hours (7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 (based on 4 shifts of 10 hours)
- Weekend shifts: On-call weekends
- Call requirements: 8 call shifts within a 4-week period
- Float requirements: None
Unit Information
- Number of labs: 2
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment used: Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Epic Cupid
- Patient types: Cardiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Competency in sedation
- Competency in circulation
Work Environment and Culture
- Personality fit: Self-motivated, team player
- Dress code: Light blue surgical scrubs (hospital issued)
- Unacceptable attire: T-shirts other than white or gray
Reporting Location
- 2nd Floor, 3500 Franciscan Way, Michigan City Campus
