Job Overview

• Travel RN position in Damariscotta, Maine
• Specialty: SCU/IMC
• Shift options: 6a-6p or 6p-6a
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call for core hours
• Occasional float to medical-surgical

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience with titratable drips
• Experience with mechanical ventilation
• Telemetry experience

Unit Details

• 8-bed unit
• Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 4:1
• Unit uses ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and SCD boots
• Patients include SCU, IMC, MS, and rare swing patients

Preferred Experience

• ICU/SCU background

Work Environment

• Navy blue scrubs
• Team-oriented, proactive, and high-standard work style preferred
