Summary

• Staff Registered Nurse (RN) role in the ED
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, nursing interventions, documentation, safety, and collaboration with providers, patients, families, and staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
• ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
• PALS (American Heart Assoc.)
• TNCC or TNS or TCRN
• ASN

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN

Key Responsibilities

• Complete initial patient assessments and develop care plans
• Implement and modify nursing interventions and plans of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Report or correct safety hazards and incidents
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, families, providers, and patients
• Support peer feedback and professional development
