Job Details
- 26-bed long-term care facility
- Charge nurse duties include passing medications and performing wound care
- Patient population includes heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:10 on days, 1:19 on nights
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other major holiday required
- No call or standby
- No floating
- 2–3 unit-specific orientation shifts
Additional Notes
- No clinical involvement
- No IVs or titratable drips
- No tele monitoring
- Clean and presentable attire required
