MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM)
Shift Details:

Day shift coverage with 2 techs (one covers weekends)
Night shift is call only (on call every Monday and one weekend per month)

Unit Information

Unit: MRI Main Hospital
Equipment: 2 GE 1.5T MRI scanners
EMR Systems: Meditech / Centricity
Typical Procedures:
- General MRI exams
- Exams involving anesthesia
- Exams with patients who have pacemakers or other cardiac devices
Patient Ratios: Not applicable
Staff: Normally 4 techs, currently 2 on day shift

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Level II Trauma experience
Experience with Cardiac MRI
