Respiratory Therapist

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, on-call once every scheduling period, may cover other shifts as needed

Job Summary

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders across all age groups: neonate, infant, toddler, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
Responsible for all respiratory care modalities, including supervising respiratory care students.
Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and manage respiratory equipment.
Some pediatric experience preferred.
Previous experience with Epic electronic health records within the last 12 months is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa.
Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
