Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Job Description

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery in the Emergency Room.
• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required).
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current American Heart Association certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Skills checklist relevant to Emergency Room nursing, current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory reference forms with dates of employment.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible).
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred but not required.

Facility & Work Environment

• Utilizes Cerner EMR system.
• Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs.
• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• This is a night shift position with 12-hour shifts.
