Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Jupiter, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Work as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
• Take call responsibilities
• Rotate weekends with staff
• Neuro experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT-R certification
• BLS certification

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Other certifications as applicable to specialty and role

Compliance & Background Checks

• Standard background check including 7-year search of locations lived/worked/school
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting)
• Felony, misdemeanor (including DUI/DWI), or controlled substance violations may result in automatic redirect

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start (new contracts only; may complete on site if not available)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (2-step TB skin test or equivalent within 3 months acceptable)
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (chickenpox)
• Seasonal flu vaccine or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
• COVID-19 vaccination proof required prior to start (dose 1 and fully vaccinated status)
• Religious and medical exemptions accepted with appropriate documentation

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable (e.g., medication test, dysrhythmia/EKG competency)
• Completion of facility-specific health and safety modules during first week of contract
• Facility parking registration form must be completed

Notes

• Automatic redirect if specialty experience is less than 24 months
• Background or credential issues may delay or prevent start
• Documentation must be current and uploaded prior to start date
