Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Salem, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- Ratios: 1:4–6
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted
- Pending Oregon license accepted
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend, not guaranteed every other
- Clinician may float within scope as needed, including to West Valley Hospital
- Block scheduling is not available
- RTO over 2 weeks requires approval

- 5N Oncology unit
- Medical Surgical Oncology
- 30-bed unit on the seventh floor of Building A
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology experience within the last year
- 1 year of oncology experience
- Med Surg experience
- Telemetry experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- O2 Protocol
- Non-invasive airway management
- Peripheral line care/management
- Isolation precaution/PPE
- Rapid response team activation

Additional Notes
- The unit cares for medical surgical oncology patients
- Nurses on this unit will obtain chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration certification within one year of hire
