Hospice RN

Role Overview

Travel/contract hospice RN in Abilene, Texas.
Shift: Night, 4x10 hours, 17:00–5:00.
Schedule includes Monday–Thursday nights with on-call from 3:00am–8:00am.
Call is shared between 2 RNs each night and may include triage calls or a visit.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Hospice (2 years of experience)
Hospice experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Outpatient setting
Driver's License

Schedule / Work Conditions

Mon–Thursday, 4x9s, 5pm–3am with a 1-hour lunch.
On-call from 3am–8am Monday to Thursday night.
Call is shared between 2 RNs each night.

Additional Notes

Government-issued photo ID is required.
Background check is required.
References: 2 required within 3 years of start.
Skills checklist is required and updated annually.
Parking is available for orientation and employee parking after orientation at no fee.
