Pediatric PACU

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Hartford, Connecticut
13-week assignment
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
40 hours per week
Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius

Role Details

Pediatric PACU assignment
The unit works Monday through Friday as an ambulatory unit and does not admit patients
The team works closely with radiology to perform diagnostic testing, specifically MRI, and provides nursing staff to that department

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Pediatrics experience
Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience
