Operating Room RN

Job Overview

  • Location: Olney, Maryland
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours
  • Weekly hours: 40
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Start dates: 8/17, 8/24, or 8/31
  • Orientation: Weekly orientation on Monday
  • Local candidates: Accepted within 60 miles at a lower rate

Schedule Details

  • Shift times: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM or 10:45 AM–7:15 PM
  • Call: Required, up to 12 hours per week plus 12 hours of weekend call
  • Holiday coverage: Every other holiday required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maryland
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 2 years of General Surgery experience
