Role Summary
This RN role provides direct patient care in a cardiac intensive care setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, treatments, discharge coordination, patient/family education, delegation, and participation in quality improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- 1 year of CCU - Coronary Care experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Unit Details
- 10-bed cardiac ICU
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1–2 patients per nurse
- Care includes advanced devices and invasive monitoring
