Job Overview
- Location: Madison, Indiana
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 24 weeks
- Call requirement: Includes call, with every 10th weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Role Summary
- Provides direct nursing care for a group of patients in the PACU
- Performs assessments, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient response, and provides patient/family education
- Delegates tasks, mentors/precepts staff, supports teamwork, and participates in quality and safety improvement efforts
