Overview

Travel RN position in Rockport, Maine
Med-surg floor
45-bed unit
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
3.3 FTEs on days and 4.5 FTEs on nights
1:5 patient ratio on days and 1:6 on nights
Float required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Patient-focused
Organized
Positive, professional, team player

Unit Details

Medical surgical unit with orthopedic, general surgery, and urology patients
Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, and PNA
Pediatric patients may be admitted to the general floor, and PALS is needed to care for them

Pros

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
