PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech experience

Unit Details

20 beds
40 staff
Estimated patient ratio: 1:4, with charge nurse free of patients
Equipment includes vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound vacs, specialty beds, suction, and chest tubes
EMR: Meditech / CPN

Clinical Focus

Manage chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, and suction
Procedures include placing chest tubes and bedside bronchitis
