Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: Medical Services
Beds: 33
Staff: 30 total
Patient Ratio: Approximately 5:1 (never guaranteed)
No tech support on shifts; staffing includes 1 charge nurse and floor RNs based on ratio
EMR System: Meditech / CPN

Job Description

Provide acute care to telemetry patients
Manage IV drips, EKG monitoring, medication administration
Care for patients with chest tubes and devices such as pacemakers
Work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, compassionate, and flexible attitude
Patient care experience is a priority

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience within the last year
Acute care experience
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
