Patient Ratios: 6-7 patients per nurse
Team nursing approach with unit secretaries and techs available
Charge Nurse support aimed to be available
Equipment: Standard Med Surg equipment
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week period; scheduled per facility policy
Floating: Required to float to like units as needed
Patient Experience: Hourly safety rounds and bedside shift report with patients required
Dress Code: Navy color uniform

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; NIH Stroke Scale certification required (can be obtained onsite)
Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for South Carolina

The hospital is a 313-bed facility with a Level II Trauma Center and 24-hour emergency room
Recognized for specialized services including burn care, breast care, robotic surgery, and stroke care
Accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
