Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment

Overview

Specialty: Respiratory Therapist

Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Float requirement: May be required to float within 25 miles of the facility
Start timing: Must be able to start 7–10 days after offer acceptance

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

Iowa SING background check required, including criminal and child abuse portions
All county and state background checks must be fully cleared before start
Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required
10-panel drug screen including opiates required

Adults
Geriatrics
Possible micro-premies to hospice

Additional Notes

Housing options are available (at additional cost)
Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
