Job Overview

• Location: Longview, Texas
• Employment type: Travel
• Schedule: Nights, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
• Shift length: 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift
• Weekend requirement: Yes, 6 days per 6-week schedule period
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Onboarding / Orientation

• Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
• New hires are precepted by a trained staff member and must complete organizational entry competency validation and an Emergency Department-specific competency validation
• Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other specific orientation
• Completion of annual competency verification is required
