Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Call: 4 days of call per month

Job Description

Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician.
Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation.
Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT
Experience as an X-Ray Technician

No floating required.
48-hour grace hours are not approved.
Scrub color: Any.
EMR system used: Medhost.
