Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Unit type: ED hold/boarding unit with possible float to an inpatient PCU unit

Role Details

RN will care for medical-surgical and PCU-type patients in an ED boarding area
This is a float position and may be floated to an inpatient PCU unit
The unit uses team nursing with RN/LPN collaboration at times
Patient ratios can fluctuate based on acuity and staffing

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
