Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Experience treating injured workers and understanding ACOMP systems for Return to Work planning
• Competency performing post-offer testing such as WorkSTEPS or APET
• Competency performing Work Hardening Evaluations or Functional Capacity Evaluations
• Competency performing ergonomic evaluations or job analysis

Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Role Expectations

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Must be comfortable treating more than one patient at a time
• Expected productivity is 60 visits in a 40-hour week
• Duties include evaluating and treating physical therapy patients, supervising physical therapy assistants, and supporting injured-worker care
• May also handle scheduling, referrals, billing code use, progress notes, and communication with referring physicians
• May participate in marketing, community outreach, and additional duties as needed
