Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Frederick, Maryland
- Labor & Delivery unit with:
- 14 Labor & Delivery rooms
- OB Triage Unit
- OB Operating Rooms
- OB PACU
- Provides obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Rotating holidays and weekends
- Block scheduling is not available
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- C-EFM
- AWHONN Intermediate accepted in place of C-EFM initially, but C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from the initial contract start date
Additional Notes
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Fetal monitoring certification is required for L&D and Family Center
- Background check, drug screen, immunizations, and other onboarding/compliance items are required before start
