Job Summary

Seeking an Interventional Radiology RT (R) / RCIS Scrub Tech with experience in IR and Cath Lab procedures. Candidates must have coiling and embolic experience. The schedule is 4 days of 10-hour shifts with rotating days off. On-call duties are required.

Required Experience

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted at start; must renew with AHA only)
• BLS (AHA or ARC accepted at start; must renew with AHA only)
• Pass/Fail Testing: Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam and Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for Cath Lab Techs. Two attempts allowed.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for Cath Lab Techs and related nursing units.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for all RNs and Cath Lab Techs.
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit specifics (verify with job description).

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start.
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months; annual updates required.
• Drug screening (10 panel) within 30 days of start.
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series and positive titer or signed declination)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) with positive titers or vaccination documentation
  • Varicella with positive titers or vaccination documentation
  • Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) required for all travelers
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.

Background & Documentation

• 7-year background check required within 30 days of start.
• E-Verify or attestation required.
• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport required.
• Professional references: 2 within the last 3 years.
• Photo for badge required (passport style).

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be prepared to complete facility-specific documentation and competency exams prior to or shortly after start date.
• On-site fit testing for masks will be conducted during orientation and updated annually.
